Britannia Rose: Our Story
Our principles, practices and goals are important to us. Here's why.
Many talk about making a difference but very few actually do it. At the very heart of every endeavour for CEO Ronnie Zahdeh is the mission to make a positive difference. For over 30 years he has worked relentlessly both in the charity and business sector to create projects with substance that had a positive impact on the world around us.
After the successful creation and growth of TotalGivingā¢ a platform that changed the world of online giving forever cutting out middlemen and to date raising over Ā£170 million for UK Charities. Ronnie found himself at a crossroads. While TotalGiving was thriving and making a significant impact in the world of charitable giving, Ronnie felt a deep calling to do more, to venture into a different realm where craftsmanship and artistry could shine.
Ronnie's heart was drawn to the world of bespoke curtain-making. He had always admired the skill and dedication of small curtain makers, the artisans who poured their souls into every stitch and fabric selection. Ronnie envisioned a marketplace where these craftsmen and craftswomen could showcase their talents, and where customers could experience the beauty of custom-made curtains and Roman blinds.
However, the path to creating Britannia Rose was far from easy. Ronnie faced numerous challenges and setbacks along the way. Establishing a new marketplace and supporting small businesses proved to be daunting as always is the case with wanting to do different.
Moreover, the time and effort required to bring his vision to life took a toll on Ronnie. Balancing the responsibilities of running TotalGiving with the demands of launching Britannia Rose was no small feat. There were sleepless nights, moments of self-doubt, and the constant pressure to succeed and make a difference in both the charitable and business worlds.
Despite the challenges, Ronnie and his team persevered. His unwavering belief in the importance of supporting small businesses, celebrating craftsmanship, and creating a platform for bespoke curtain makers kept him going. He poured his heart and soul into every aspect of Britannia Rose's creation.
Finally, after months of hard work, determination, and perseverance, Britannia Rose was born. It was more than just a marketplace; it was a labour of love, a dedication to craftsmanship and community support.
Britannia Rose quickly gained recognition for its excellence in made-to-measure curtains and Roman blinds. Customers flocked to the platform, eager to experience the artistry and personalised touch that Britannia Rose offered. Small curtain makers found a new home, a platform to showcase their talents and connect with customers who appreciated their craft.
The painful journey to create Britannia Rose was a testament to the resilience, passion, and unwavering commitment to a vision. Through the challenges and setbacks, emerged victorious, creating not just a business, but a community, a platform, and a legacy that celebrated the beauty of bespoke craftsmanship.
And so, the story of Ronnie Zahdeh, the founder who dared to dream of Britannia Rose after the creation of TotalGiving, serves as an inspiring tale of perseverance, passion, and the transformative power of entrepreneurship.
